Phoenix (WSYR-TV) – State Police have charged a Phoenix man with sexually abusing a child.
According to police, 21-year-old Ryan Pontello of 187 County Route 12 had sexual contact with a child under the age of 11.
The alleged incident occurred in 2011 in the town of Palermo. He was arrested on Tuesday.
Police charged Pontello with sexual abuse in the first degree, a felony, and endangering the welfare of a child, a misdemeanor.
Pontello was taken to the Oswego County Correctional Facility in lieu of $2,500 cash bail or $5,000 bond.
He is scheduled to appear in Town of Palermo Court on March 11.
