Police: Suspicious South Side death was a homicide

Syracuse (WSYR-TV) – Syracuse Police said on Friday that they are investigating the death of a man found on the city’s South Side as a homicide.

Carnell Marshall’s body was found on Saturday, April 14, around 10 a.m. in a vacant lot behind Mavis Discount Tire on South Salina Street.

Syracuse Police are asking anyone with information on Marshall or anyone who witnessed a fight or disturbance in the area of South Salina Street and McAllister Avenue between Thursday, April 12, and Saturday, April 14, to call them at (315) 442-5222.
