Auburn (WSYR-TV) An Auburn woman is in jail, charged with trying to smother two toddlers with a pillow.
Police say they responded to a call early Saturday morning at a home along Nelson Street in Auburn. Once there, they located both victims, a two year old child and a three year old child, along with their biological father, and the alleged suspect. Police tell us preliminary reports indicate the suspect tried to smother the children, both girls, with a pillow.
Both children were taken to the hospital, where they were treated and released.
As a result, police arrested Nicole Fallet, 31, and charged her with assault and criminal possession of a weapon, which police say was from a previous conviction.
Fallet is being held by Auburn Police pending her arraignment. Detectives are still seeking more information at (315) 258-9880.
