Syracuse (WSYR-TV) - Police say they have arrested a woman in connection with the attempted North Syracuse home invasion last month. During that home invasion, the resident shot and killed both suspects.
Police say 20-year-old Michelle Sears was inside the home on Elm Street on morning of September 20th--when the two men came charging in. Her husband, Thomas Lashomb, and Wade Brown were shot killed after they kicked opened the door. There are phone records that show that Sears talked and sent texts to Lashomb just before the home invasion.
The resident who did the shooting, 22-year old Jeffrey Bush, has not been charged. The District Attorney's office outlined Sears' connection to the incident in a press conference Thursday afternoon.

North Syracuse, New York (WSYR-TV) - North Syracuse Police say they are not filing any charges against the man who shot and killed two people who broke into his home around 1 o'clock Saturday morning at 115 Elm Street.
They say Jeffrey Bush, 22 was acting in self defense when 23-year-old Thomas Lashomb and 26-year-old Wade Brown, both of Syracuse, forced their way into the home and attacked him.
A friend, who was at Bush's home, jumped in and began fighting with Brown. That's when Bush fired a shotgun at Lashomb, killing him. He then shot Brown who died on the way to the hospital.
Police also tell NewsChannel 9 that Bush's home was targeted and they believe he knew Lashomb in some capacity. However, they are still working to find out a motive.
Officers will be handing the case over to the Onondaga County District Attorney's office so it can review the evidence. It is unclear whether charges will be filed by the D.A.
