Police identify victim in overnight shooting

Syracuse (WSYR-TV) – Police have identified the man killed in an overnight shooting on Essex Street in Syracuse.

Officers found 33-year-old LaJuan Williams inside the home at 204 Essex Street after responding to a reported disturbance shortly after midnight.

Williams was taken to University Hospital where he died.

Police say they have limited information and are continuing their investigation.
