Police investigating reported home invasion in Clay

Clay (WSYR-TV) – State Police are investigating a home invasion reported in the town of Clay on Monday morning.

They say a resident at 4260 Altair Course called 911 after his barking dog alerted him to a person in all black standing in the kitchen. The resident said a second suspect was hiding behind a door. The second suspect, the homeowner said, confronted him and then fled after a brief physical altercation.

Both suspects were described as black males.
