Canastota (WSYR-TV) – State Police arrested a Madison County man on Monday, accusing him of operating rolling meth lab out of his vehicle.
Police charged Ronald McEathron, 36, of Munnsville with criminal possession of a controlled substance and unlawful methamphetamine manufacture, both felonies, as well as criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor.
On Monday, Canastota Police arrested another Madison County man
– Joshua Drummond of Canastota – on similar charges.
According to State Police, McEathron was found with methamphetamine, as well as equipment and chemicals used in the drug’s manufacture in his vehicle in the parking lot of a public pool on Chapel Street in the village of Canastota. Police said they found the items after interviewing McEathron regarding an unrelated investigation into a mobile meth lab less than a mile away.
McEathron was arraigned in Village of Canastota Court and taken to the Madison County Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash bail or $20,000 bond.
