Syracuse (WSYR-TV) – Six days after he was charged with rape and murder in the town of Clay, police have released an image of the suspect.
David Renz, 29, was facing child pornography charges when he allegedly abducted 47-year-old Lori Bresnahan and a 10-year-old girl.
He is accused of stabbing Bresnahan to death on Verplank Road.
He was charged with rape, kidnapping, second degree murder, and first degree murder.
Police asked local media, including NewsChannel 9, to refrain from using images of Renz during the early phase of their investigation.
