Police say Marathon man stole fishing boat, sold it for scrap
Marathon (WSYR-TV) – A Marathon man is facing a felony charge after police say stole an aluminum fishing boat and sold it for scrap.
Frank Williams III, 36, was charged with grand larceny in the fourth degree.
Police arrested Williams during their investigation into the theft of a boat from Deans Pond Road in the Cortland County town.
They said the boat was valued at $1,100.
He was issued a ticket returnable to Marathon court on Oct. 16.
