Police trying to locate endangered missing Syracuse man
Syracuse (WSYR-TV) – Syracuse Police are asking for the public’s help in finding a missing city man who they say is endangered.
Police are looking for 60-year-old Valentin Santa of 110 Rowland St.
Santa was reported missing by his family. He was last seen on May 5 at noon.
He speaks little English and was described as having a diminished mental capacity.
He is a 5-foot-4 Hispanic man who weighs 140 pounds and has salt and pepper hair with dry, wrinkled skin and discolored teeth.
Santa was last seen wearing a white t-shirt and jeans.
He frequently walks near the Areils Corner Store at Bradley and Elliott streets.
Anyone with information on Santa’s location should call the Syracuse Police Department’s Missing Person’s Unit at (315) 442-5330.
Police say there is no evidence that any criminal activity led to Santa’s disappearance at this time.
