Public invited to attend meetings regarding plans to install more crime cameras

Syracuse (WSYR-TV) -- The Syracuse Police Department wants to hear from neighbors about crime cameras.

The police department has scheduled a series of community meetings to inform the public about the plans to install additional crime cameras, as well as to provide neighbors with the opportunity to ask questions.

The public is encouraged to attend the meetings.

There are separate gatherings for each side of the city. You’ll find the schedule below:

South side Camera Meeting
Monday, June 25th, 6:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.
Dunbar Center

North side Camera Meeting
Wednesday, June 27th, 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
Grant Middle School
2400 Grant Blvd.
Syracuse, N.Y. 13208

West side Camera Meeting
Thursday, June 28th, 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.
Delaware Elementary School
900 S. Geddes St.
