Rain has moved into the area, although it is rather scattered in nature. Scattered showers should continue as a warm front advances over Syracuse. Overnight, rain should become more widespread. We’re expecting that the front should pass through by Sunday morning, allowing for strong southwest winds to bring winds upwards of 30mph. Those southwest winds will also help to import much milder air, pushing temperatures into the 60s to near 70. While there may be a few showers around, much of Sunday should be rain free. Areas with a better chance for seeing rain will be well northeast of Syracuse.

A cold front should pass through the area on Monday, but as of right now it looks like the heaviest of any associated showers should graze to our southeast. Once the front passes, drier air works in again and temperatures should remain seasonable through most of the week. The majority of the work week looks like it should be dry, with the next system approaching late on Thursday and bringing rain for Friday.
