ROCHESTER, N.Y. (AP) - A 27-year-old Western New York man has been sentenced to five years in prison for receiving sexually explicit photos of a 13-year-old girl on his cell phone.
The Rochester Democrat and Chronicle reports that Chad Crowley of Clifton Springs, 30 miles southeast of Rochester, was convicted of receiving child pornography. Federal prosecutors say Crowley exchanged sexually explicit text messages with the girl in February 2011, knowing she was a minor.
The case was investigated by the departments of Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Homeland Security, New York State Police, and the Ontario County District Attorney's Office.
