Rome woman accused in murder-for-hire plot

Rome (WSYR-TV) – A Rome woman was arrested Monday on charges that she tried to hire someone to kill a member of her family.

Angela Tefft, 28, of Park Drive Manor, Rome, was charged with criminal solicitation in the second degree, a class D felony.

Rome Police say they began investigating Tefft after receiving a tip.

She was arraigned in Rome City Court and is being held in Oneida County Jail in lieu of $75,000 bail.
