GENESEO, N.Y. (AP) - State Police are investigating the death of a 19-year-old student from Queens at a state college in the Finger Lakes region.
According to troopers, Arman Partamian, from Flushing, was found unresponsive by another Geneseo student about 11 a.m. Sunday. Investigators say they believe alcohol was involved and they were consulting with the Livingston County district attorney.
Partamian wasa biology major and a volunteer EMT with the Geneseo Fire Department for the past 6 months.
A letter informing students and faculty of Partamian's death was sent out earlier today.
