SYRACUSE, NY (WSYR-TV) - Two case managers from the Central New York Chapter of the Salvation Army will be going to New York City on Monday to help victims of Hurricane Sandy move from transitional to permanent housing.
“That's who we are. People who work at the Salvation Army, that's what we're here for, so any opportunity to help, any cause, any need, we jump at it,” said Case Manager Ellen Aldrich.
The managers are expected to be downstate for about two weeks.
