Sex offender accused of abusing 3 children in the town of Onondaga
Onondaga (WSYR-TV) – A Level 1 sex offender living in Central Square is facing charges that he sexually abused three children in the town of Onondaga in 2006.
Sheriff’s Investigators are trying to determine whether 51-year-old William Howley has abused additional victims.
He has been charged with three counts of sex abuse in the first degree, a felony; and failure to register a Facebook account, as well as failure to register a change of address.
His alleged victims were under the age of 11 when the abuse occurred, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
Howley was taken into custody on Thursday morning.
He is being held at the Justice Center in lieu of $45,000 cash bail or bond.

The Sheriff’s Office says it plans on releasing an image of Howley as soon as possible.
