Sheriff's Office identifies victim in deadly Pompey crash
Pompey, NY -(WSYR-TV) - One person is dead after a crash early Friday morning along Route 91 in the Town of Pompey.
According to the Onondaga County Sheriff's Office, 22-year-old Tyler Masters of Pompey was killed when his 1998 GMC Jimmy drifted off the road near Bush Road and struck a tree.
Onondaga County Sheriff's deputies responded to the crash at 3:30 a.m.
Masters was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Sheriff's Office is still investigating the accident.
Route 91 from Pratts Falls Road to Hamilton Road has been re-opened.
