Syracuse (WSYR-TV) – While most of the ground in the city of Syracuse remained bare on Monday morning, residents in other parts of Central New York were busy shoveling out their driveways and brushing off their cars.

Snow fell particularly heavily in parts of Oswego County.

Residents in the Central Square area reported to NewsChannel 9 that as much as three and a half feet of snow had fallen since Sunday afternoon, while Fulton residents said approximately two feet fell in parts of their community.

The NewsChannel 9 Storm Team anticipates that scattered snow will be around through Monday evening before a band of lake effect snow reforms, bringing more localized high snow totals through Tuesday.
