SALINA, NY (WSYR-TV) - State Police arrested a Baldwinsville woman after they say she tried to rob a hotel and a gas station at about 6:00 a.m. Sunday.
Police say Erin Descant threatened to use a weapon, if an employee at the Quality Inn on 7th North Street in Salina didn't give her money.
Descant apparently didn't keep to her threat, and when the employee wouldn't give her any money, she went to the Sunoco gas station down the street.
That's where Descant told the manager she was going to rob the place.
The manager pulled the alarm and Descant ran out.
Troopers caught her in the parking lot.
Descant is charged with first degree Attempted Robbery and third degree Attempted Robbery.
She's being held on $50,000 bail at the Onondaga County Justice Center.
