Syracuse (WSYR-TV) – The hot temperatures couldn’t keep crowds away from the nearly 8,000 cars on display for the Syracuse Nationals at the State Fairgrounds on Friday.
Hot rods and classic cars have converged in the Syracuse area this weekend for the largest show of its kind in the northeast.
The three-day car show features classic cars, custom cars, and hot rods from around the US.
More than 350 vendors, along with artists and performers are also at the event.
The Convention and Visitors Bureau calls Syracuse Nationals the second largest event in the area, right behind the State Fair.
A small-road course on which drivers can display their skills is a new feature at the event.
Sunday is the final day for the show. For a list of scheduled events, check out the Syracuse Nationals website
