Syracuse Mayor’s receptionist fired after being arrested on drug charges
Syracuse (WSYR-TV) – A receptionist in the City of Syracuse Mayor’s office was arrested on drug charges - including a felony - Thursday night by the Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office.
Emara Stanley was fired from her position Friday morning.
The mayor's office issued a brief statement on Friday afternoon.
The Sheriff's Office indicated that she was arrested on the 1700 block of South Salina Street in the city of Syracuse.
The 24-year-old woman, who lives in Syracuse, posted bail on Friday morning.
Stanley was initially being held at the Onondaga County Justice Center in lieu of $5,000 cash bail or $10,000 bond.
