Syracuse Police identify 65-year-old homicide victim

Syracuse (WSYR-TV) - Syracuse Police have identified the victim of a homicide that occurred on Monday night in the area of South Salina Street and East Colvin Street.
Police say 65-year-old Marvin Bryant of Syracuse walked to his family’s house in the 1900 block of South Salina Street with at least one stab wound, just before 8 p.m. Monday.
Bryant was transported to Upstate University Hospital where he was pronounced dead at 10:30 p.m.
Police say the motive is not known and they are continuing to investigate.
While investigating, police sealed off a parking lot on Beard Place.
This is the 20th homicide in the city of Syracuse this year.
