Syracuse Police identify victim in car, bicycle accident

Syracuse (WSYR-TV) –Police have released the identity of a Syracuse man who was taken to the hospital after being struck by a car while bicycling.

According to police, Gerardo Algarin-Morales, 61, was listed in critical condition after he was hit by a Kia sedan at the intersection of James and North McBride streets.

The accident occurred on Sunday morning.

Police are still investigating the accident.
