Syracuse Police looking for suspects after the brutal beating death of a 51-year-old man
Syracuse (WSYR-TV) – Syracuse Police are looking for several suspects after a man died from injuries sustained in a savage attack outside of a South Side shop.
Police say 51-year-old Michael Daniels was standing alone in front of Los Amigos Market when he was attacked by a group of teenagers.
They say the assault at 9:40 p.m. on Thursday was not provoked.
Daniels was reportedly punched and kicked in the head by a group that included three to five black teenagers while he was on the ground outside the store on the corner of West Brighton and Cannon streets.
Police say the suspects are between 10 and 16 years of age.
Daniels was taken to Upstate University Hospital, where he was listed in critical condition until succumbing to his injuries on Friday evening.
