Camillus (WSYR-TV) - A 15-year-old Camillus teen is facing several charges after he allegedly attempted to rob the Sunoco Convenience Store on Milton Avenue on Sunday.

Camillus Police say the teen is being charged as a juvenile offender and being held at Hillbrook Detention Center.

He has been charged with first degree attempted robbery, fourth degree criminal possession of a weapon, and second degree menacing.

Camillus Police say the teen walked into the store on Sunday night, armed with a hunting knife and wearing a mask, and demanded money and cigarettes. However the robber got away with nothing and ran out of the store after two customers walked in and asked what was going on.
