Ellisburg (WSYR-TV) - One teen is dead and another was flown to Upstate Hospital after a serious car crash. It happened along State Route 289 in the Town of Ellisburg around 8:40 Saturday night.
Jefferson County Sheriff's Deputies say 19-year-old Gaige Knapp of Watertown, was driving south when his car went off the side of the road, hit an embankment and rolled over several times.
Knapp's passenger, 17-year-old Trevor Robinson of Adams, was pronounced dead at the scene. Police say they do believe speed was a factor, but are still investigating the crash.
