AUBURN, NY (WSYR-TV) - The Citizen, a newspaper in Auburn, will soon stop publishing papers on Mondays.
Subscribers will be able to get the paper for the other six days.
In a letter written by publisher Michael Rifanburg, he wrote that the changes will begin April 1st.
Rifanburg compared the Monday edition to papers published on other days writing, "Monday, on the other hand, has lagged in newspaper sales and advertising support. With our new lineup of Tuesday through Sunday, we will be a stronger six-day newspaper."
He also noted the increased traffic on the
paper's website.
