Syracuse (WSYR-TV) -- More than 8,000 people celebrated the diversity of Westcott Street at the neighborhood's annual cultural fair, Sunday afternoon.
The one-day celebration showcases the diversity of the Westcott neighborhood through music, art, food and clothing.
Festival-goers enjoyed live performances by local bands like Sophistafunk and One Black Voice.
They also had a chance to bring an economic boost to businesses around the neighborhood.
"We are so excited to be here there's lots of food, families and friends and everyone's out dancing to the beats and picking up some funky jewelry and pieces of clothing. Its just good, its all good," said festival-goer Sarah Lee Brown.
