Syracuse (WSYR-TV) -- Three people were transported to the hospital after an accident on 690-West at the West Street exit Tuesday night.
Syracuse Police say a tractor trailer hauling construction equipment was approaching the West Street ramp when the driver, 47-year-old Ronald Randall, of Chittenango, switched lanes to avoid another vehicle. In doing so, police say Randall hit a 2002 Dodge Minivan.
The 31-year-old driver of the minivan and two passengers were transported to the hospital with what police are calling non-life threatening injuries.
Police say a 2002 Pontiac Firebird was also sideswiped in the accident, but was not injured in the accident.
690-West at the West Street was temporarily closed due to the accident but has since reopened.
No tickets were issued.
