Turning Stone officials say expansion project could add hundreds of jobs
Verona (WSYR-TV) – Turning Stone Casino and Resort announced Thursday that a major expansion project could produce hundreds of jobs for Central New Yorkers.
They say the $25 million project, called “Exit 33,” will create 200 jobs for the construction project and 100 permanent positions.
Casino officials say they signed an agreement with a local labor organization indicating that all of the laborers involved in the construction project will come from the immediate area.
The expansion will include a country-music dance hall, a rock and roll club, and a piano bar.
It is scheduled to open in July 2013.
