Manlius (WSYR-TV) -- Police have charged the driver of a vehicle involved in an auto/pedestrian accident Tuesday night in the village of Manlius.

Police say 23-year-old Sean M. Clark, of Syracuse, failed to see a 76-year-old man and a 61-year-old woman who were crossing East Seneca Street -- in a marked crosswalk -- just before 7 p.m.

Both victims were taken to the hospital, but are expected to be okay.

One lane of East Seneca Street was shut down at the time of the incident.

Clark has been charged with aggravated unlicensed operation and failure to yield the right of way to a pedestrian in a crosswalk.
