Update: Man dragged by truck outside North Medical is in fair condition at hospital

Salina (WSYR-TV) – A Liverpool man is listed in fair condition as of Monday evening after being hit and dragged by a pick-up truck while walking in the parking lot at the North Medical Center on West Taft Road.

According to the Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office, the driver was unaware that she hit 56-year-old Lyle Tyron as he was walking in the lot around 8:30 a.m.

They say she continued driving for 30 feet before another motorist alerted her that Tryon was beneath the vehicle.

Tyron was taken to Upstate University Hospital. He had been listed in critical condition earlier in the day.

No tickets have been issued, nor have any charges been filed against the driver.
