SYRACUSE, NY (WSYR-TV) - Syracuse Police are investigating a homicide early Sunday morning that left one man dead.

Investigators say 24-year-old Eric Walker was shot around 3:30 a.m. near South McBride Street and Wieser Court.

Witnesses reported the shots came from a late model, gray or silver SUV.

Walker suffered at least one gunshot wound and was dropped off at Upstate Hospital in a private car.  He was pronounced dead a short time later.

Police received several 911 calls reporting shots fired in the area of South McBride and Wieser Court about the same time the victim was being dropped off at the hospital.
