Vehicle registered to missing C-NS grad located along with dead body
Syracuse (WSYR-TV) – Local police in North Carolina say they have found a vehicle belonging to a Cicero-North Syracuse High School graduate along with a dead body. They do not know if the body is that of the missing woman, Elizabeth Stonger.
Stonger was reported missing on Oct. 14 after leaving her shift at a Walmart in Belmont, NC.
Police believed she may have been driving a 1998 Chevy Lumina – the make of the car that was found on Monday morning.
Belmont Police and other law-enforcement agencies had been looking for the woman in the Blue Ridge Mountains area. They were focusing their efforts on the McDowell County area.
