NewsChannel 9 aired its debut Tuesday night of a new show called: “Carrie Lazarus Presents: Extraordinary People and Places of Central New York.”

Felicia gained fame on the reality show Queer Eye for the Straight Guy. He grew up in Syracuse and has written a new book about his weekend home in Skaneateles.
The place Carrie chose for the first show is amazing! Letchworth State Park is called the Grand Canyon of the east. It's just a two hour drive from Syracuse. She shared the history of the stunning spot and got an aerial view that few people see.
During the show's debut an extraordinarily talented high school student was also profiled. Carrie found a singer you have to hear to believe. He's a junior from Fayetteville Manlius High School who's been compared to Michael Buble.
