Syracuse (WSYR-TV) – The driver who was drunk behind the wheel in an incident that killed Anna Russo-Young pleaded guilty on Tuesday.

Te Sa, 40, pleaded guilty to second-degree manslaughter. She had also been arrested on multiple drunk driving charges and traffic violations.

In March, police said Sa was drunk when she crashed her car into another parked vehicle on East Division Street. After she tried to free the car by rocking it back and forth, she quickly accelerated while in reverse, striking Russo-Young and pinning her against a wall.

Russo-Young, 41, was transported to Upstate University Hospital with multiple injuries. She later succumbed to those injuries.

Sa will be sentenced to two and one third to seven years in prison.
