SYRACUSE, NY (WSYR-TV) - Police are investigating the shooting of a 29-year old woman at a home at 161 Kenmore Avenue.
Around 1:30 Saturday morning, 29-year old Stacey Burgess was on the porch with her friends, when they heard a shot. Witnesses say Burgess immediately fell down.
Police say she was shot once in the left upper hip and thigh area and was taken to University Hospital in serious condition.
Investigators say she suffered significant injuries to her pelvis area, but they appear to be non-life threatening.
