North Syracuse (WSYR-TV) -- A Syracuse family wants answers after they spent more than $1,000 on a customized swing set from a local business, but never got what they paid for. Three months after their purchase, they haven’t heard from the business, nor have they gotten their money back.
Earlier this year, Louis and Jaime Petrocci decided to forgo their family trip and make an investment in something their kids could enjoy for years to come.
“We decided this year we have a nice sized backyard. Let’s put a swing set in, something the kids can grow up with,” Louis Petrocci said.
The couple ordered a customized swing set from B and K Beds in March. Now, three months and several thousand dollars later, they haven’t even seen the set or their money.
“The worst part of it, the part that upsets me the most, is the kids were involved in designing the swing set,” Louis said.
The couple even signed a two year contract with B and K Beds and put $1,000 down on the swing set. They agreed to make payments over the next 24 months and contacted the business in March to get an update on when it would be ready.
Business reps told them they would install the swing set in April, but they never came.
The Petrocci's have visited the business nearly everyday, but they can never get in touch with anyone.
NewsChannel 9 has made several attempts to reach out to B and K Beds, but have not heard back. The Petrocci's are frustrated and just want what they paid for.

, they say the storefront is closing, but they plan to close out orders as fast as possible. The Petrocci’s are now filing a complaint with the Attorney General’s office, since they have not been contacted about their order.
