Syracuse (WSYR-TV) – Rosamond Gifford Zoo has announced that it is closed today.
The zoo made the announcement hours after indicating that it would make a “#
ZooBaby announcement” this morning.
According to Onondaga County officials, a power line was cut during construction work.
They said National Grid is currently working on restoring power and the zoo would re-open on Friday.
The zoo did not indicate what kind of baby would be revealed.
The zoo introduced a
baby markhor and baby
snow leopards in August.
