iPhone 4 settlement reached: The Real Deal
Syracuse (WSYR-TV) -- Compensation is on the way for iPhone 4 customers. A class-action lawsuit has been settled over the phone’s controversial antenna design.
iPhone 4 owners will soon be able to go to their nearest Apple store and get paid for the problems they experienced.
The reception problem first surfaced about two years ago when iPhone 4 users noticed their new phones had reception issues when the phone was held in a certain way.
If you own an iPhone 4, you’ll get an email in April. You’ll have 120 days from the time your receive the email to either pick up a free phone case Apple is offering or you can choose to collect $15.
An attorney in the case says over 21 million people are eligible for the settlement.
