Syracuse (WSYR-TV) - The high school senior who many call the nation's top basketball recruit plans to announce Wednesday which school he will attend in the fall, and he says Syracuse is among the three finalists.

Nerlens Noel, a 6-foot-10, 215 pound center from The Tilton School in New Hampshire, has narrowed his decision to three schools: Syracuse Orange, Georgetown Hoyas, or Kentucky Wildcats.

He plans to make his announcement Wednesday on ESPN.

Noel has been blogging on ESPN.com, where he talked about his February visit to Syracuse.

"I went to Syracuse on Feb. 10 and I had a really good time there. Their fans were great, and I spent a lot of time with the coaches and the players. When I first got there I met up with coach Jim Boeheim in the Carmelo Anthony Center and we had a good talk. He talked to me about how he would use me in their system and things like that."

Noel also attended the February 11 game against UConn, when 33,430 fans packed the Dome.
