I'm voting for Hoffman. Scozzafava is too liberal for this district, which has traditionally been conservative. Has anyone noticed that in her ads, Scozzafava says she supports "marriage equality," not "gay marriage." Interesting choice of words.....chosen, I am sure, to be as misleading as possible.

Herr Hoffman is a fake. He's what we called a "chicken hawk" during the Vietnam war. He's quick to wave the flag and for sending others into combat but like Bush, ducked into the NY State National Guard to escape service over in Vietnam. What principles are we talking about here? He's a creep.

Hoffman is principle over politics, that’s my kind of man. He was so nervous, any honest person would be also jumping into a public speaking role. Rather see that then another slick con-artist. All politics is local, if you are running for local and state, but Congress is a bunch of local guys making Federal laws for everybody. I cannot stand Barney Frank’s lame ideas yet I have to live under the stupidly he brings to Congress. Hoffman not having his microphone on at the beginning must have thrown him for a loop. I brushed it off as an accident but when the questioner interrupted him to demand a yes or no answer, you could see how that also throw Hoffman. I thought that very rude of the questioner. And when the questioner did not do that to the other two and let them rave on, the microphone being off at the beginning took on another meaning. Our country is going down the tubes, Hoffman was the only one to bring that up. Most of the projects the woman talked about will not get a chance to happen in the downward spiral we are now in. There is an emergency, thinking locally is only the first step in getting someone to take on this out of control administration. The amount of worthless paper this administration is printing up is going to come back and haunt us with 20-30% inflation in a few short years, and that is if they stop NOW! Our congress can use more accountants and fewer narcissists.

How about some real journalistic "fact checking" by WSYR of those sleezy adds we're getting bombed with on television? Or would that be a conflict of interest with the big advertising dollars? Independent media protecting our democracy?
