Syracuse (WSYR-TV) -- NewsChannel 9 got a behind-the-scenes look into the making of Broadway musical “Wicked.”
The hit musical is playing at the Landmark Theatre now through December 9. It’s the untold stories of the witches of Oz before Dorothy dropped in.
The show has dazzled audiences across the country, won three Tony Awards and it’s not stopping there. Entertainment Weekly calls it the “best musical of the decade.” And it’s not just the performers on stage. A whole crew behind the scenes makes sure everything runs according to plan.
“We make sure…every single night,” said Stage Manager Matthew Leiner.
