Albany (WSYR-TV) – Governor Andrew Cuomo’s office launched a new, interactive website as part of his administration’s “new New York” campaign.
The website,
www.NYGetInvolved.com, is intended to help bring New Yorkers together to learn about the governor’s plans.
The new website features information about Governor Cuomo’s 2012-2013 budget and reform plan.
In addition to updates from the governor, visitors will be able to find a map showing the visits that Governor Cuomo is making throughout the state.
Specific sections of the website include information on:
- Creating jobs
- Reforming the pension system
- Lowering the cost of government
- Reforming the state education system
- Expanding the state's DNA databank
- Increasing participation in food assistance programs
