Syracuse (WSYR-TV) – A celebration of winter is underway in Downtown Syracuse.
Last year, the event went on despite a lack of normal winter weather during one of the mildest seasons in recent memory.
On Friday, Joe Borasky was putting the final touches on the event’s centerpiece, the ice castle.
Organizers and attendees kicked off the event on Thursday with fireworks; and Friday saw the beginning of The Post-Standard’s “Find the Medallion” treasure hunt.
