1 ticketed in 4-car Cayuga County crash

Sennett (WSYR-TV) – One driver has been ticketed after a crash involving four cars in the town of Sennett on Tuesday.

According to the Cayuga County Sheriff's Office, 22-year-old Jessica O'Connor of Auburn sideswiped an eastbound car and struck two other oncoming vehicles.

O'Connor had to be cut out of her vehicle and transported to Upstate University Hospital with serious injuries.

Another driver was taken to Auburn Community Hospital with minor injuries.

The accident occurred at the intersection of Grant Avenue and Gates Road, according to Cayuga County 911.

O'Connor was ticketed for improper passing, moving from lane unsafely, and reckless driving.
