Sherburne (WSYR-TV) -- One hundred pounds of marijuana and more than $36,000 in cash was seized during a drug raid in the town of Sherburne on Thursday.
According to the Chenango County Sheriff’s Office, the raid followed a lengthy investigation into the sale of marijuana at the home, located at 476 Pleasant Valley Road.
Several scales, packaging material and drug paraphernalia were also taken from the home, as well as illegally possessed Oxycodone, detectives said.
Robert R. Reynolds, 52, has been charged in connection with the bust.
$20,000 worth of personal property was also recovered, which detectives say were direct proceeds from on-going marijuana sales at the home.
Reynolds has been charged with Felony Criminal Possession of Marijuana in the First Degree, Felony Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree and Misdemeanor Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Fourth Degree.
Additional arrests are pending and additional property may be seized as the investigation in ongoing.
Reynolds was arraigned in the Town of North Norwich Court and held at the Chenango County Correctional Facility on $ 50,000.00 cash bail.
