13-year old arrested for stealing car & police chase

BIG FLATS, NY (WSYR-TV) - State police say charges are pending against a 13-year old juvenile who stole a car and then led police on a chase through two counties.

The 13-year old was being held at the Glove House Facility in the town of Bath, when he left the residence and stole the car.

Troopers spotted the stolen car on Interstate 86, but the juvenile refused to stop.

The chase eventually ended in Chemung County and the 13-year old was arrested and sent to the Rochester Children's Center.

State Police say criminal charges are pending.
