2 indicted in stabbing of police chief’s son

Syracuse (WSYR-TV) – Two Syracuse men have been indicted in connection to the stabbing of Police Chief Frank Fowler’s son in a South Side store in January.

Demetrius Archie and Antwann Underwood were both indicted on assault in the second degree. Archie was also indicted on one count of criminal possession of a weapon.

Frank Fowler Jr. was stabbed at Upstate Convenience Market on Jan. 7 at 12:15 a.m.

Fowler’s injuries were not life threatening.

Archie was arrested in August on charges that he stole a cash register from the B&B Lounge on South Avenue.
